Coronavirus (COVID-19) Operations Update

Gary Community Investments (GCI), which includes the Piton Foundation, is committed to the safety and well-being our employees, their families, our grantees and partners. In response to the health concerns surrounding the transmission of COVID-19, commonly referred to as the Coronavirus, the GCI office will be closed and staff will be conducting all work remotely effective March 16.

We do not expect any disruption to business operations. Our staff is equipped for virtual meetings via Google Hangouts and office phone lines will be redirected to personal phones. We encourage you to reach GCI staff by email for the quickest response. Additionally, during this time staff will limit work-related travel, external meetings and events.

We ensure our grant process will not be affected by these measures, nor will our hiring and recruitment efforts. Communication with applicants will take place virtually.

GCI appreciates your patience during this uncertain time. We continue to be dedicated to our mission of improving the lives of Colorado’s low-income children and families.

We will continue to evaluate the situation as it relates to our work. Please check our website for future updates.
