Volunteering with Tax Help Colorado

Volunteer with Us

Make a difference in your community—and have some fun while you’re at it—by volunteering with Tax Help Colorado! On average, every hour of volunteering at one of our free tax sites puts $1,400 in the hands of hard-working families who are struggling to make ends meet. You’ll help low-income families claim valuable tax credits, like the Earned Income Tax Credit, that are proven to make them more financially secure.

Whether you’re a CPA with years of tax experience, or still ask your parents to file your return, Tax Help Colorado needs your help. You can work directly with taxpayers at our traditional sites or help prepare returns without any client engagement. There are a variety of volunteer roles for different experiences and interests, and we offer training to ensure you’re prepared.
